The Bridging Centre has been born out of the need to facilitate the learning process of children who have been identified as having Learning Difficulties and therefore not able to reach their full learning potential without assisted therapeutic intervention.
The child’s learning potential is seen as an all encompassing developing child, physically, emotionally, socially and cognitively.
Why?
Primary school is a defining factor in any child’s education.
Our initiative has been launched to diminish the drastic developmental inequalities along the sequential chronological timeline through which a child develops, and is therefore unable to successfully achieve both effectively and efficiently within the Primary School realm.
The focus of the initiative is to eliminate the feeling of estrangement and alienation the child may feel when he/she enters a primary school away from familiarity of the pre-school and often established friendships, and now feels the stresses and pressures of not being able to adequately cope in his/her new learning environment.
Our Ethos
